by the way i think Quigg is a very good fighter but as a lot to prove yet, his best win was against a man contemplating retirement going into the fight, interesting to see who he gets next maybe an ex world champ or someone in the top 6 or 7?
Flea man you so underestimate Moses mate he'd beat ant LW in Uk with exception maybe of Rees. Kevin was ment to come and give us a lesson, that never happened and katsitas Ricky boxed a very clever fight. maybe your biased against scots I don't know, let's see if Scott can achieve what Ricky has then get back to me
Yes mate I know the levels that Ricky and Carl/Scott are at are different right now but was just commenting on the fact that Rig shouldn't be even coming into the equation for Frampton or Quigg just yet, whereas Broner should just be allowed to go on his way full stop in terms of ever fighting Ricky. And that's not meant as a slight against Ricky's ability it's more to do with Broner being a freak at that weight - he has the shoulders of a bloody middleweight and when he's bowling over welters and light middles fairly soon all this Broner-Ricky stuff will be long forgotten. Frampton on the other hand has got someobody like Rig to aim at in the distance but you wouldn't want that as his first fight at world level! You'd fancy Rig to have the skills to run around Frampton for most of the night but Frampton has proved he is quite savvy himself and the Martinez fight showed he has one-punch fight deciding power at a good level. Frampton has earned the right to have an easier entry to world level than Rig though, and if that fight happened he should be carrying a belt himself and getting a good side of the bargaining table. I do feel sorry for Quigg like you said though. Frampton's side have stolen a big march in negotiations for that fight if it were to happen. Which is ironic as it wasn't so long ago that Gallagher pissed Barry off by telling him to pipe down and stop calling out Quigg because Frampton just wasn't ready. Tune has changed there now! But inacitivity is killing so many fighters right now unless they have fallen the right side of the tv lottery. As a Welshamn I'm relieved Selby has got himself sorted out. Although he is too good not to have done so in the end. But seeing Buckland fighting some obscure 10 rounder on an Argentinian undercard after nearly 6 months out is plain shite.
How can you say frampton was savvy in the Martinez fight I expected him to box rings round him with his supposed amateur pedigree and it ended up being a tear up. I expected a lesser version of what rigo did do donaire
I was pissed one night on the way home and saw Gallagher outside his house on night. Had like a 15 minute chat with him. Top guy
