Always thought the criticism was a bit over the top. It's not as if the likes of John Murray were exactly naturally elusive fighters or in any way world class so getting stopped against the likes of Mitchell and Rios were going to happen regardless of trainer.

Crolla's defeat to Matthews was mostly down to complacency/style issues so again unfair criticism.

 

I think the criticism was more to do with letting JM get hammered by Rios for too long.
