How about when he did nothing when John Murray was been massacred by Brandon Rios, he shaved years off Murray’s career that night in not protecting him, then to add insult to injury he was in the corner for Crolla against Murray that ended Johns career. The guy seems a right twat tbh.
The worst imo was Marcus Morrison he could of got him seriously hurt all the stick Gallagher got for not pulling Marcus out and yet he doesn’t lean from his dreadful mistakes like I said on another post would you trust him in your sons corner ??
Was thinking of Murray vs Rios as well. The referee ought to get a bit of stick as well, as another poster said, he should’ve gone over to the corner and warned he’d stop it. Have to agree re: the accumulation of shots being the big issue with head injuries. Maybe trainers need educating. If your fighter is done and it’s clear they won’t be fighting again, they’ve got no chance of winning and they’re taking punishment then you’ve got to think about their health. Forget this macho crap...that’s no good when you’re eating through a straw and have someone wiping your arse for you.
If anyone wants to complain, they should just think back to the groves vs gutneckt fight. A fight that should of also been stopped by the corner / ref and look what happened to him.
Trollboy I wouldn't exactly call Callum Smith, Scott Quigg ( in his prime), Liam Smith, Anthony Crolla ( during his best period) , Matthew Macklin ( got robbed of a world title win with Gallagher against Sturm) ' mediocre'. I'm pretty sure all of them achieved more in sport then any of your whole family have. At one point the Gallagher gym was on ****ing fire, and they were all undefeated in years. He deserved the Ring magazine trainer of the year award at the time The confidence in the gym has gone now though, things definitely have gone downhill.
