True, his infighting and grappling were fantastic, but he was not used to the ruleset that allowed for an even more free use of inside fighting and grappling than he was used to (which Gans was), nor would he be used to going 20-40 rounds like Gans who went over 20 rounds about 19 times. I can't see how he could beat Gans under those conditions, even if everything we know about Duran suggests he would be more formidable in that era than any of his other contemporaries. Also, bump.
I'll take Gans. I never thought much of Duran anyways. I also favor Pernell and even Oscar with his slashing combinations
