Also, it's not just the play by play guys on the take. Other media does it, too...I see the scene has Jermell's loss as a "controversial shocker" while Jermall simply "decisioned a game Korobov". They're shilling just the same by painting it as the Charlos should've gone 2-0 tonight, shortchanging the hell out of both Harrison and Korobov. The real story is these were both cherry picks gone wrong and no amount of whitewashing is going to change that both twins' stock dropped tonight. It's not the end of the world for them, but it's a setback.
The majority of the fight was closer than that round. I scored the second half of the fight for Charlo, but that was Korobovs clearest round. Yet out of those six second half rounds, the commentators stated that round as being great for Charlo. There was a bias for the entire fight but nothing worth really noting. Charlo IS a PBC fighter after all. But that round in particular stands out.
