if it was so inefffective then why did he win rounds??? also you got to give joe calzaghes fighting heart and mental strength after a shaky start he won around 7 rounds in my book

Joe didnt have to give Bhop credit and he did, why Bhop cant do the same?

That shows you what kind of guy Calzage is ,remind me Mosley at the end of Cotto fight.

After this fight, its hard for anyone to want a bhop fight. On the other hand, Calzaghe's value as gone up dramaticly, because he really made the fight exciting. Pavlik v Calazghe sounds so far like a great match, but i dont think kelly would be willing to move up yet.

As for bhop giving no credit, thats just his nature. He wouldnt give joe credit if he had been knocked 20 times.

    Love your Avatar.

Im a rugby League fan from Sydney Australia though i can remember that scene like it was yesterday.

I was only around 9 or 10year old and my dad and I would watch a EPL highlights show every Tuesday night(didnt play much overseas soccer in oz back then as pay t.v was maybe a few years off back then).

But **** it was great watching Eric fly kick that mug in the stands.

My dad and I were pissing ourselves laughing for hours over that crazy french *******.

Take into account my ancestors were convicts so it shouldnt come as a surprise that antics like that get me excited.

Far out that was great. Thanks for reminding me im going to youtube right now.

Bernard is a classless arrogant *****. I'm glad he's been exposed once again. I predict he will soon get fired by Oscar.

I know it is sad such a great fighter cannot show 1 bit of respect to those that are gifted enough to actually get the better of him, no matter how close it is.

Hopkins has every right to be pissed, and not give Calzaghe any credit. how the **** do you award a fight to a guy who never landed a single meaningful punch apart form a couple low blows.

It was a very close fight, but Hopkins has always been a sore loser.

    Nothing new here.

It was ineffective. The main reason he won, had more to do with Hopkins just not throwing, because he can't pull the trigger like he used to be able to. Calzaghe landed nothing of significance, except the low blow.
