Yeah Joyce will be made to work but I doubt Takam offers any serious chance of winning, will watch though should be fan friendly.
Fun while it lasts but takam will get stopped mid rounds, not a bad tick over opponent all things considered. will there be a ddd rematch with Joyce before Joyce gets a shot at a world title? Quite possibly
Takam is a decent name, always in shape and on a four fight winning streak since losing to Chisora. Good keep busy fight but not sure what a bout against a 40 year old, 6ft plodder really prepares Joyce for looking ahead.
Good fight. Jennings gave Joyce some problems and took numerous rounds off him and Takam is on par level wise with Jennings.
Decent tick over fight but with Joshua and Usyk seemingly happening where does this place Joyce, he’s maybe a year or 2 away from a mandatory title shot, so where does he go after he walks through Takam?
I reckon he could get Pulev next he'll be looking to cash out one last time his careers done after losing to Joshua. Would love to see a Yoka or Hrgovic fight but doubt Joyce's team would take either.
My thoughts exactly. I’d hate to think his next big fight is a Dubois rematch based purely on having nowhere else to go.
Not a bad name although I'd have been more pumped for somebody like Fedosov after his recent shock win. Takam will give him rounds but is on the cusp of getting old.
