How do you explain wins over Dubois and Parker then?

I think I had Chisora edging it by two points. That was a surprise to me. Joyce boxed brainlessly and didn't have what he used to have to win in spite of the brainlessness.

Parker was in a rut and Dubois was green.

As a big fan of Joyce and having met his family who are diamonds, him fighting on worries me. He can’t be built back up at this point as he is old and damaged goods, so I’m concerned Warren might have no choice but to throw him in with a young beast like Wardley or Itauma.

I didn’t mind the Yoka angle as much, as he has been beaten from pillar to post aswell, but that seems to have gone very quiet

I would hate to see him get humiliated by a 20 year old, or badly hurt by a vicious Wardley.

Wrong, it was Parker coming to scrap like he had never scrapped before. Probably the least boring version of Parker we have ever seen.

Wilder didn't throw a punch. Funny how someone can look "new and improved" when the opponent is dross!

Parker didn't do much either. He had one good flurry late on and still couldn't drop this shot version of Wilder. That's a little bit curious in itself given that people say that Fury is a soft puncher and Wilder can't take a punch.

People around about Joe who say they care about him should prove it and advise him to retire

I would t put it past Parker to beat Dubois so if he can build a string of wins there’s that rematch, or Dubois himself.

He ass poor versus Chisora, looked out of shape, though I fought be did enough in that fight. Chisora rematch could be an option or Whyte.

Feel sorry for him though, don’t think warren did a best job with him.

Wilder didn't throw a right hand in anger for 12 rounds vs Parker. Joyce put Parker under pressure and forced him to fight every minute of every round. It's a very good win for Joyce considering Parker has never been stopped and what he's gone on to achieve.

Joyce had less fights than Dubois when they fought.

I wasn't overly high on Joyce but he has some solid wins Takam, Jennings, Ustinov, Stirvene, Parker, Dubois.

That's a better resume than most Heavyweights have in this era.

Its deffo better than Tyson's. The last time he beat a champ was 5 years ago! He has not done anything since. Porkys corner nailed it regarding him. Imagine struggling with a cage fighter under rules that don't favour the cage fighter, but you!

I'm not sure what "last time he beat a champ" means. There's only been two champions in the division since his comeback, and he beat one of them three times. The last time he beat him was three years ago. The last time he beat a guy holding a belt was four years ago.

Joshua hasn't beaten a guy holding a belt in five years and he hasn't beaten a guy who has held a belt in the same length of time. For Wilder it's longer. None of the rest of them except Dubois has, but has never beaten a guy holding a belt (officially - he did beat Usyk).
