I think he's done. Let be honest any kind of engine and boxing ability should get you past Chisora... and Joyce didn't have it in him.
Normally his work rate, chin and strength were getting him the wins (see Parker) but it's gone.
The instant rematch with Zhang was a bad idea. He should have gone in with tune up, then another left hander before looking at facing one of the biggest punchers in the division.
If he must go again, soft touch, Franklin or Clarke then maybe Whyte... Win them he might be back near the top

He should avoid Wardley, a big slingy, heavy handed fighter on a high is exactly what Joyce doesn't need about now.

I agree with pretty much all of this.

It was that cognitive dissonance state of "how is anyone going to beat this guy?" and "there's no way his chin will hold up forever". Zhang could be written off as an aberration, but being knocked down by Chisora was a very very bad sign.

I do feel for Joe who seems to be a very nice guy, and for a year or so he was very much the division's bogeyman. I'm sure he hasn't done too badly in his career, but a fraction of what the likes of Hrgovic will have made on the Saudi bandwagon.

I hope he manages a rematch with Yoka to try and avenge the Olympic defeat, then retires gracefully.

I actually thought he beat Chisora, but he does look finished at the top level for me.

The Zhang fights took away any chance of progressing towards a big title. From there he's just fighting for money and it's never really seemed to be his motivation so you can understand if he just doesn't fancy it.

Chisora was a good money fight for him and Whyte would be another, but the likes of Yoka in a revenge fight seems like a bit of a luxury at this stage. It's just frightening how Joyce has gone so far backwards since beating Parker, only for the latter to go on such a good run he could well be the next IBF champion.
