Ortiz rubbish mouthed and called out Joyce. Joyce said hell yeah lets do it. Ortiz has since gone quiet and into hiding. Allen, Martz, Tom Hanks, Cojanu, Ortiz aint fighting anyone in a hurry because hes at the end of his run and ripe for picking. Woulda, coulda, shoulda... everything except do. He should stop calling out fighters if he cant do.
I mean if he is the best heavy like some people are saying, then Usyk will absolutely dominate Joshua, since he already toyed with Joyce.
Damn forgot this fight was even happening. Just checked the highlights and looks like he battered him. Kept his hands up more than in previous performances but lived up to the Juggernaut moniker and just plowed through him dropped him 3 times and made him quit. Based on how he did vs Kiladze, Kownacki better stay away from Joyce. Would be a very entertaining fight if it happened both throw a lot and come forward but Joyce would beat him at his own game and batter him. The Ortiz fight is the fight that would do the most for Joyce obviously but it's a big risk and no chance Ortiz wants it, look at the guys track record other than Wilder he's fought one decent opponent his entire career. For a guy who's been a pro for over 8 years, he's taken very few risks and even the Wilder fight was a less risky choice than fighting Joshua, Ortiz isn't the type to take risks. He'll keep fighting the Martz's and Cojanu's of the division while waiting for a Wilder rematch. Washington would be a decent fight and an opponent who would make Joyce look good. He looks the part, only has 2 losses but in reality is a poor boxer with an average jab and little power, Joyce will walk through him. Jennings I think would be an excellent choice. Jennings had previously agreed to fight Parker so he's ready to step up again and take a risk, so it's a fight that could be made hopefully.
Joyce wants no piece of the old man. Pathetically calling him out like "I want Ortiz!...but not yet...".
Joe Joyce looked very good cutting the ring off, he reminded me of a bigger inexperienced version of Big George, he only needs to use his heavy jab more and he needs to learn how to parry punches with his gloves like Foreman did and he will be a force. But right now he is too green for the top guys, give him 5 more fights and he will be ready.
Coulda, woulda, shoulda... everything but do. Both have fights on December 1st without an opponent, Joyce is waiting...
Wow, I've never ever heard of a fighter losing at the start of their amateur careers whilst still learning, well ill be damned. You got me there. You better let Wilder, Joshua and Fury know these startling facts, it never happened to any of them, that's for sure. The 19 losses on Ortiz's amateur record must be a conspiracy. He should have no trouble signing to fight Joyce then, you know, since he was the one who originally called him out and all.
Who's next? Charles Martin Dominic Breazeale Jarrell Miller George Washington Jennings (might be tough) David Price (LOL why not) Robert Helenius Hughie Fury
That was the amateurs, and they removed head guards now because it increases the concussive effect of blows to the head according to science. Today I pick Joyce easy.
