If we even get the version of Joyce that fought Hrgovic, we could see an incredible comeback. Inactivity hurt him in his last fight.

Needs to get his weight down and stay active if he wants any chance of getting a big fight. Never say never especially at HW... and especially when the division is as wide open as it is. This "comeback" probably isn't going to end well for Joyce though.

Yes, he needs to get back into the 270s. The 260s would be too low.

Too old to get that low. It never works out for older fighters to lose that much weight. Post-Zhang, he looked his best at 270 against Hrgovic.

he was 265 only 4 years ago

no reason for him to be above 260, he’s 6’3, not 6’9

Learn a trade and get out of boxing. They may still be time for you to have a healthy and productive life.

Nah, he's taken far too much damage. He had a decent career, time for him to enjoy another path.

I don't want to see him take more damage. He has those confused moments as is.

my bad I misread his height when I was on BoxRec

stil can’t be anything above 260 imo. All his losses mostly have come as he came in 270 and above

    Oh, for ****s sake

He quit in his last fight, which is a clear indication that he is done for. Yes, yes... "but his jaw was broken!" Do you honestly think Joyce of 2022/23 would have quit then and there in the 11th round?

He is 40, is 1-5 since KO´ing Parker, had his chin broken in his last fight. Its time to let it go.
And I would not say this, if I didn't know for certain that he was still aiming to fight the top guys. If he wants to beat up some bums, or fellow 40 year olds, then I am all for it, but he wont go down this path.

1 - 5 since Parker.... with the win coming beating an absolute part-timer in Kash Ali.
