Nah David Tua has a better chin. Took clean shots from a prime Lennox Lewis for 12 and barely flinched. Parker has been overrated for a while now. Especially by the Kiwis on this forum.
Joe Joyce has a good chin, but let's not exaggerate. Oliver McCall took the best punches from Lennox Lewis and did not go down. Mariusz Wach took the best punches from Wladimir Klitschko and did not go down. Joseph Parker is not feather fisted, but he's not a big puncher either. I wonder if Joyce could take Makhmudov's best shots, or Wilder's?
The guys with the best chins are usually nameless journeymen you’ve never heard of. Like this guy This content is protected As far as name guys I’d say Ray Mercer had more proven durability and he consistently fought far more dangerous punchers than Joyce has.
If anybody has the punch to beat Joyce, it is Zhang. I'm sick of these anorexics vs big men. Let's see the mega HWs combine. These SHWs have no chance. It's ridiculous watching a SHW puncher like Hrgovic have to run and cower like a cruiser weight. It's sad. Let's get the MHWs to fight.
It's certainly an excellent chin, but this is one of those hyperbolic in-the-moment threads. Parker is just a respectable puncher, not a devastating one. Maybe it'll be further tested by one of the division's bigger hitters at some point, then we'll be able to say more about exactly how good it is.
Great punch resistance but people are overlooking the fact he's always the bigger man in the ring and taking shots from guys who he easily outsizes.
