If his handlers don't cash him out soon we'll probably see another Helenius/Kownacki type situation. The cherrypicks may come back to bite him.
He's not that great. We can all see that. Still, he's big, relentless, and hard hitting, so he'll beat who he beats and get beat by who he gets beat by, and there isn't much to be done about it. Not like he is going to turn Tyson Fury at 34 with limited boxing experience and start experimenting in new styles.
One thing I know about Joyce, he certainly doe's not have a glass jaw, Dubois might ko him but it will take a big punch to do it.
I like watching Joyce he’s got that train wreck kamikaze style. Zero elegance to his work but fantastic engine. He’s definitely susceptible to getting rocked by a big shot early and I think Dubois will come and try to stick it on him early doors. Exciting and intriguing match up. 50/50 for me.
With such an aggressive style and being a slow starter in a division where one punch can end a fight, he is indeed a KO waiting to happen. But Dubois might not be that guy to do it. For all is flaws Joyce is pretty damn effective. Pretty much everyone lands on him early, but if they don't hurt him enough to discourage him, he ends up walking right over them. That's going to be everyone's dilemma, they need to jump on him early and put him away early because 3 rounds with Joyce is like 6 rounds with anyone else.
You re right. Dubois is a huge puncher but as many punchers If beaten they are over imo Look at Wilder... poor ...gone down three times with Fury II, plus a skull dent and a half busted ear drum. The problem is Joyce cant hit hard so that probably Dubois will have an easy job with Slow Joe.
Joyce is very durable. Stiverne hit him with a massive hook in their fight, and he laughed it off. He is susceptible to body shots though.
