Even guys like breidis and gassiev could do okay at hw and they are less skilled.

I rate them better than szpilka for example, and if they trained for it they would be 215-220lbs enough speed and movement to beat the majority of heavies. But not of all of them.

huck gave povetkin one hell of a fight, and povetkin is a top 5 hw. a pretty old cunningham beat glaskov (robbed) and mansour. you get big heavies like maruisz wach who wouldnt land a punch on uysk, same goes for the american football players like breazeale and martin.
A prime delboy would be a hard fight for a cruiserweight, he keeps coming, and coming, but he doesnt finish anyone off. whyte is a tough brawler with no real skill, easily outpointed. Pulev is a decent fighter, but slow and one geared! Takam would be a decent test for anyone coming up.
These are gatekeepers/former contenders... hardly a murders row.

Usyk is still young enough to improve even more. Has a damn good coach in Loma's dad too.

 

I think all 3 of them would become top10 HWs if they moved up today, Usyk, Gassiev and Briedis. Hard to think otherwise after taking a look at the HW top10 on TNRB, Ring and ESPN.
