You carn't question Joyce's chin lad nobody has been able to budge him deter him or back him up ever and he leaves the ring without a mark on him being very feel in the process.

 

He would just need to KO a few people who are actually live opponents, and not tomato cans, what bit of this is hard to comprehend? How can people talk about all time great power when he has never stopped anyone who is a top 5-10 fighter? The first one he met, he couldn't ko him in 3 fights, and got walked through.

Lots of fighters look great against tomato cans, Daniel Dubious for one, as soon as he met someone who coud hit back hard, and could take a punch, his face got smashed in. The same thing would happen to Wilder. Wilder would land on Joyce chin, Joyce would just look at him, and Wilder would just fold.

 

If Luis Ortiz wasn't a "top 10 fighter", then where was he placed?

Joshua also looked decent against 'tomato cans', but came unstuck at the top level and even lost to a 'tomato can'. Wilder hits way harder than Joshua, who is a good puncher, and he proved that with his demolition of Breazeale, where Joshua had to hit him 100 times with clean power punches.

Wilder's punching power is simply sensational. Breathtaking.

 

Ortiz is a nobody, never beaten anyone good, every decent fighter he has faced has beat him.

Yes but nobody is running around saying Joshua has all time great power... Wilder hit Stiverne cleanly hundreds of times in their first fight, and he lasted 12 rounds..

Wilder is a one dimensional, B level fighter at best. Loses comfortably to the likes of Joyce, Fury, Usyk, fat or thin Ruiz, AJ etc.

 

Did you really just say Wilder would lose comfortably against the likes of "Ajay" and Ruiz?

You are the same bloke who said a few weeks ago that "Ajay has fought everybody", when he has only been in three 50/50 bouts in a 10 year career, with his best win an ancient, retiring, inactive Klitschko coming off a loss, at Wembley. "Ajay's" record is no better than Wilder's.

Joyce's style gives trouble to all the heavyweights. However, people need to remember that this is the same Parker who was dropped by Dereck Chisora, took 12 rounds by Junior Fa, who himself was stopped by Lucas Browne in a round, and put on a huge amount of weight since the Joshua fight.

 

Outside the top 10. Beating an average Jenning doeant make you a top 10 fighter. Chisora has a more impressive wins on his record than Ortiz, I wouldn't say Chisora was top 10 at any point.

Wilder is very, very limited and has a very poor record for a WC (only just gets in the top 10 if you compare his record with others in the divison).

 

List your top 10 when Wilder faced Ortiz the first time.

 

Fury, Usyk, Wilder and Joyce firmly top 4

 

Agreed. Wilder had nearly and hour and a half with Fury and couldn't ko him. You think if that was Foreman or Mike Tyson they'd have such trouble? Nope. Wilders power is overrated.

 

Ruiz barely got past older versions of Ortiz and Arreola than Wilder fought.

 

Wilder not being able to KO Fury is more down to Wilder's lack of skill and ability to truly harness his power and regularly land big shots rather than a lack of huge KO power.

 

Mindboggling.

 

A lot of good points regarding people's records in here but it just goes to show the lack of depth in the division. You can pick holes in all their records. Joyce has put together a solid CV now and deserves respect for it. You can't denigrate Parker but then use him to put Joshua on a pedestal.
