That is a fight everyone should welcome. I'm guessing Oct 30th if it were to happen. Fury would need time to get himself in shape.

Possibly a little overated. But I think he is a solid top 10 fighter based on the good ol' eye test.

But he has a resume that would make Luis Ortiz blush. And him having ducked Ortiz in the past doesn't help his case either.

Like Ortiz, Joyce's career trajectory looks like it will sadly become a lot of what ifs.

Whilst Frank picks up the bill. The Fury non wilder fights did poor business for Top Rank and the Whyte fight massively undersold Ppv numbers. Arum is do the same with kambosos vs Haney. Done his nuts now trying to get george to step aside.

mid fury is adamant he’s retired why on earth would he be fighting Joyce of all people in a comeback.

bobby boy doesn’t know what planet he’s on anymore

Hammer does nothing to further Joyce's ambitions at his age he needs fights with rated boxers, not journeymen.

How unfortunate that Joyce has not gotten more out of her professional career.

Shalom said they offered Joyce £1.2 mil to fight on Sky box office.

Parker gets the offer to fight Joyce, turns it down then goes to another platform and asks them to offer Joyce the fight

I guess it's because sky are prepared to put on ppv. BT Sport wouldn't do that.

Can't imagine Joyce would have been getting £1.2 million on BT.

I'm pretty certain Warren when rather stupidly announcing the fight had it mentioned as a PPV

Its a big gamble to put it on PPV as it needs to do 200k buys on Sky to breakeven. Shows how much pressure is on Shalom to deliver PPV events

I'd not seen anything about how well the Whyte fight had done but my instinct was it hadn't broken records. I ducked it due to the lack of a credible undercard.

Can't see Frank wanting to put Joyce in with Fury, doesn't that waste the WBO slot?

He's that old Wilder's considering making him his next opponent.

rumours are it did circa 700k buys. But according to Frank he wont have numbers for 90 days. Which is code for lets let it blow over
