Joyce in my opinion, he's bigger, stronger, beats Kownacki at his own game. Look at their fight with Kiladze, Kownacki struggled early ended up pretty busted up and bleeding walking into shots while Joyce walked right through Kiladze. Don't see this fight happening though. He's being built up as Wilder's next big fight outside of Joshua and Fury. I think he will likely fight a WBC eliminator at some point this year and be named mandatory ahead of Whyte after Wilder has beaten Breazeale. So I don't see them risking Kownacki vs Joyce.
Joyce will walk through him and methodically bludgeon him into submission. Kownacki has a lot of guts (no pun intended) and a relentless attacking style, but he's vulnerable to walking onto shots; his face also tends to get quite bloodied up and swollen, which could be a deciding issue. Joyce I think damages Kownacki's face to the point where he's no longer able to avoid shots or read distance, whereupon he starts shipping too much punishment for the ref or his corner to let it continue.
Neither one of these guys has the offensive toools that Foreman had, he could cut off the ring anfd had great glove control, Ali wouldn`t have even needed the rope a dope against Joyce he hasn`t been in at elite level and Lyle was great at at landing counter power punches, Joyce cannot counter punch for ****.
Joyce also stays on the center line with no head movement, his first form of defense is his face, it will come down to who lands the big one first and who has the best chin, against a badly out of shape fighter like Stiverne Joyce`s power wasn`t that impressive I think his ability to finish a decent fighter is yet to be proven.
Joyce seems to take a better low-level punch though, meaning he doesn't mark up or cut easily from what I can see. Kownacki has power, but it's an Arreola-like power that doesn't turn a fighter's lights off immediately, but rather grinds them down with relentless semi-powerful shots cracking your body and head time and again. It's not the type of explosive power that might trouble Joyce, meaning he'll need to hit Joyce pretty consistently before his shots start to take effect, and that's going to be difficult when he's receiving a similarly consistent, if thudding and slower, barrage of shots back as he's doing it.
