Takam provides a tougher test with his work rate, pressure, speed and durability (Joyce will be to big too strong for him though). Wallin will fold as soon as fights a top 15-20 person with decent power - Joyce would go straight through him.

I was thinking just the same. Dubois needs an experienced decent fighter and Takan fits the bill.

Joyce has the experience and needs to fight top 10-15 level now.

I thought Takam was robbed a win over Perez.

I don't care to see Takam at this point. This is a step down from Dubois and I had gotten my hopes up for Yoka. Understandable, tho, as most of the best guys are otherwise occupied.

It was inevitable when Frank mentioned the pair of them that Yoka was being name dropped to support the idea they were looking for dangerous opponents.

Takam is less of a threat, looks the part, comes to fight and has name recognition with the casual audience thanks to his fights with AJ and Delboy.

JJ has a chance to finish him earlier than either and with not much power in Takam's shots to trouble his granite chin and friendly judging this is as good as a low risk fight gets.

Robbed against Perez, took Parker very close and even though he was losing decisively to AJ he was starting to come on a bit before AJs personal ref stepped in to give him a breather, held his own with Povetkin and was schooling Chisora before getting caught. Takam is extremely underrated. Modern road warrior who fights anyone anywhere.

Should rematch Dubious. Target the eye and finish his career.

At this point, Joyce should be fairly close to a title shot. He should be in with top 10 guys.

I'd like to see him against the winner of Ruiz/Ortiz or Whyte or the loser of Wilder/Fury III. I think he's as ready as he'll ever be, and the clock is ticking.

Takam has never seen the brand of slickness JJJ brings to the table - deceptively effective slow motion British slickness and he won't ever want to see it again after he's been dismantled by him either.

Carlos Takam always comes prepared to fight.

He'll not be so easy in the early rounds for Joyce, but Takam tires in the later rounds so will likely be stopped sometime after round 6.,
