The thing I don't get about Wilder is that about 7-8 years ago he was developing an okay jab. That jab has only seen the light of day in the first 2 rounds of Fury 3. Wilder with a jab has the potential to beat all beat all but the top 3-4 HW's.

Which fights did he show off his jab the best?

Wilder is incredibly gun-shy now and his chin is probably more cracked than Joyce's. I reckon Joyce by stoppage.

What reason is there to believe Wilder has anything left? He's closing in on 40, and has been taking year-long breaks in between fights. He spent the majority of the Parker fight backing up, and his in-ring interview afterwards made it seem like he was just there to pick up the paycheck and wish everyone a farewell. As far as I can tell, the guy is done, physically and mentally. The Fury trilogy likely took everything out of him, and his inactivity suggests he doesn't actually want to box anymore, but the Saudi money is just too tempting. My guess is he's finished. I'd very much love to be wrong though. As one dimensional as the guy is, he was still fairly exciting to watch.

Joyce lack of head movement could turn into another Breazeale or Helenius going forward...

Interesting fight. Either man can land a haymaker that ends it. A definite 50/50 fight. A crossroads fight with the loser becoming an afterthought.

Pros & cons of each fighter have been posted above.
Difficult fight to predict. All outcomes are probable from Wilder stoppage to Joyce stoppage. Doubting it goes to the judges is a good (near sure) bet.

I'm voting for Joe to keep it as close as possible. It's who I'm rooting for. If Joe struggles to defeat Kash I might change my vote.
Loser should retire but could still make some good $... for a fight or two as a name on somebodies record.

That's an excellent crossroads fight, I think Joyce is the perfect opponent for Wilder to look good against, slow, plodding and blocks punches with his face. I think Wilder stops Joyce inside 8-9 rounds.

I think Zhang has a heavier punch than Wilder. Not as much whip in it but much more clubbing in the sense of a 280lb dude behind it. I also think Wilder looked a bit faded against Parker. I think Wilder is gonna struggle to really hurt Joyce whereas Joyce will move Wilder. Could be wrong of course but I think JJ grinds Wilder down to a KO win. The caveat is that Wilder probably has more left in the tank than JJ. He's got more potential to work himself up to a better state of tune and surprise us on fight night.

Perhaps. Joyce's jab can mess Wilder up as well
