Whyte is going to need to have a hard long warm weather camp to be ready for this one. Wink, Wink.

Joyce’s work rate is all wrong for Whyte.

Whyte fresh off a diet of MHA steaks and Oreo cookie milkshakes, will waddle his blob like physique to a win over the completely shot, older Joyce.

Whyte by KO unless he messes up his cycle. Going to see if anyone will give odds on another Whyte "accidental contamination"

Joyce V Whyte will be a good fight, can see the loser retiring. It's interesting because Joyce's pressure I can see bothering Whyte, especially if he can use the same jab as he did against Dubois. But, Whyte is a pretty versatile boxer, he is solid on the backfoot, as well as a frontfooter, or a swarmer. I picture Joyce winning the early rounds, marching into a lead of 5-1 rounds, before being knocked out by a massive counter left hook by Whyte. And I think that may happen - considering Joyce's punch resistence is cooked. Whyte 7th round KO.

Okolie V Riakporhe will be a painful viewing. Okolie is more accustomed to HW, so I think he'll stop Riakporhe pretty early in the 4/5th round. They can both actually hit really hard - they both have a lot of natural power, Riakporhe's output/workrate was poor at CW, I don't see how it will improve at HW. I thought Okolie gave CBS a much harder fight than Riakporhe did.

Both Joyce and Whyte are washed but at least Joyce still has a chin and stamina.

Tetteh might have even worse defense than Joyce and Whyte couldn't put a dent in him despite landing like 200 clean shots, seems like the power is gone too.

Joyce scores a random KO somewhere in the mid-rounds.

Lets see how Joyce looks against Patrick Korte. I was one of the few who picked Chisora to bead Joyce, and a big reason for that was Joyce´s performance vs Kash Ali. Joyce looked sluggish and uncertain against Ali.

I like the matchup. Seems evenly matched.

The promo is laying it on pretty thick, though.

"High stakes" heavyweight clash. (Neither guy is ranked among the top 15 by the WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO.)

And they're sure trying to milk those "interim reigns."

Two former "interim" champs! (Who, together, successfully defended their "interim" belts a combined zero times.)

Oh well. They're evenly matched at least. Let's go with that. ;)

I have sworn a blood oath never to watch an Okolie "fight " ever again.

Otherwise yes the Joyce-Whyte fight should be good.

Whyte popped dirty for his Joshua rematch so he had to face Tetteh clean. He will mostly likely be cycling PED's by the time this match occurs.

Okolie - Riakporhe has such levels of unwatchableness it has historical significance.

I like Riakporhe and this could be a big win for him. Odd fight choice given Okolie moved up but is fighting a cruiser and a cruiser who recently fought for a title going up to face a former cruiser.

I like Joyce vs Whyte, its a good loser goes home kind of fight. I tend to think Joyce does the majority of things better but Joyce might have the intangibles to still win. I could see Whyte jab Joyce apart and maybe land a big left hook. I don't know if Joyce can keep just taking punches on the chin every fight and it not eventually catch up with him. I'm also not convinced Whyte withstands the shots that Chisora ate as well. Could be a sloppy fight with knockdowns, why not

At this point, Whyte has nothing to loose. He has no major promoter or network backing him. A few good wins could put him back at the big boys table. But he is 36 now, and even in his physical prime he could barely hold his own at the world level. Might as well give it his all and take whatever is necessary to win.
I genuinely doubt a career cheat would not resort to cheating at the tail end of his career.

    This one tickled me.

Reminds me of Robert Guerrero, who calls himself a "6-Time World Champion in 4 divisions".
    IBF champ at 126.
    IBF champ at 130.
Interim WBO and WBA champt at 135. (won both belts the same night)
    Interim WBC champ at 147.

I voted Joyce for the win here.

Whyte won't pressure him as hard as Chisora did.

Whyte is just getting kept warm to milk the last drops of Joshua’s career and help him avoid Dubois, the winner of this fight doesn’t become relevant and have any impact on championship contention for either of them and if it does then it’s a sad state of affairs.
The landscape is starting to take shape and there’s no place for either of these two.
I don’t mind watching it but it’s not relevant, winner might get a fight with wilder.
I think the gloves are off would be better than the fight, Whyte would destroy Joyce in a war of words, it would be a thing of beauty
