Joyce has no defence - none, and his chin is suspect these days. I really hate to say this - but have you heard how Joyce sounds when he speaks these days?

Whyte can have a mediocre night, and a good night, I think Whyte will turn up against Joyce (loser basically retires fight really), especially if Joyce is continuously coming forward - Joyce will be very open to that counter left hook which is Whyte's best shot, and Whyte can honestly hit quite hard - harder than Chisora IMO. I could see Joyce winning though if he can turn the clock back but I'm not confident in Joyce ATM.

Joyce took about a 100 clean overhands and hooks from Chisora and only got hurt by one, that's not a suspect chin.

Did you watch Whyte vs Tetteh? Tetteh was a punching bag and Whyte couldn't hurt him once.

He has taken real punishment in his last few fights, cultivating in knockdowns and losses against him. His speech is worrying these days. I think Joyce should retire.

The way Joyce fights, come-forward swarmer, and we have seen this a lot recently - I think he will get countered badly by a huge left hook by Whyte.

Whyte IMO hits harder than Chisora on his best night.

It would be nice to see if he can take a heavy shot from Martin

Whyte himself has taken some awful punishment in his career, they're both shot. Even if Joyce's chin is somewhat diminished, it's still far better than Whyte's.

Fury can't punch yet he laid out Whyte with the first serious punch he landed. That's bad.

Chisora was able to hang in there against Joyce on sheer toughness. Current Whyte doesn't have half the chin Chisora has.

I mean I think it will be a great fight whilst it lasts. Whyte is a more dangerous fighter than Chisora on each of their best days.

Joyce's power is awkward, it is more like long-run continuous power rather than one punch power, I wouldn't be surprised if Joyce wins but I just think Joyce will get countered badly at some-point and I really think Whyte will turn up and put up a very good fight at least.

Joyce´s reflexes are gone. He used to ride with shots really well, and overall had a better defense than what appeared at first glance.
Takam was the first guy to land quite a bit on Joyce, but even then Joyce did a decent job at intercepting most of the looping punches. Joyce was 35 at that point.

Rooting for Joyce, but Whyte may win this.

Close to an even matchup though, so an interesting fight for that reason.

Let us not forget, Joyce kind of got ****ed over against Chisora. At best Del Boy nicked it due to the knockdown. Whereas Chisora just shut out Wallin. So was Joyce's performance against him really all that bad? Whereas Whyte looked like warmed over grim death against Tetteh and needed a bull**** British stoppage to maintain any cred. Poor Tetteh was annoyed as **** and just as perplexed as to why they stopped it. So if the Joyce who fought Chisora shows up against the Whyte that fought Tetteh, he ****ing mangles him.
