Not good for Joyce imo, he will basically fight 2 times in a month while fighting twice a year recently.

Joyce needs to make an heir to pass the prizefighting wealth to.

Just leaving it here since it's not thread worthy.

There is a chance that he will take some punishment in his next fight, which could cost him his next fight. Fighting so often at his age is just ******ed.
However, if he gets through his next fight with ease then it could help him stay sharp for Whyte.

It´s a gamble, but one worth it.

Joyce is fighting second crossguard user in a row, although Whyte is leaning into an old George mimicry rather than the bullish, Armstrong/Frazier-like version of Chisora. Still, it will be interesting to see how he deals with different punch selection required, and especially his jab being less of a tool, as Whyte has shown to employ a lot of that single hand horizontal block across the chin, as he jabs in particular.

That being said, Whyte looked poor recently, and his power might not be what it used to be. Chisora still needed to walk through fire to get the decision against Joyce, weaving like an Apache helicopter. Whyte might just crack under the pressure along the way—that's if his left hook won't break through Joyce, which it might not. Chisora landed a killer overhand right and Joe was right back up.

I reckon Whyte's war-torn, veteran body fails him here. Joyce is marked, but a shopworn Joyce is still a diminished colossus, whereas Whyte even in his prime was suspect, bar the power.

I thought Joyce won that fight, tbh. Sure, Joyce got dropped, but Joyce was hurting Chisora every round, but the judges kept giving the rounds for Chisora because his shots are so showy (and he's a fan favorite).

Joyce wins, as long as there's strict drug testing.

Okolie weighs 260.8 lbs while Riakporhe is only 200 lbs, the difference in weight is obvious while they are exactly the same height, somehow I think Okolie will win...

"Went up to him and said, Madonna is Old now" Cracked me up lol proper mind games

On Whyte vs Joyce - Interesting fight, may the best man win. Joyce looked vulnerable to body shots, as we saw against Jennings. So would need the old body snatcher to show up.

For old time's sake I'll back Whyte but can see path to victory for Joyce however Whyte is the more versatile puncher with his punch selection, and he'll see Joyce as a much greater threat than Tetteh so he should come fully prepared and in his best possible form at this age.

Riakporhe vs Okolie could be a hugging borefest or they could come out swinging for the fences. I've always backed Okolie in this matchup, Riaporhe has been a bit of a dissapointment and lacks any real conditioning or tenacity to be competitive against ultra-competitive guys like Okolie.
