Joe Joyce vs Frank Bruno

Bruno by KO, Joyce is so slow he will go out one day and meet himself coming back!!

 

And Joyce could?? LOL!

 

I favour Bruno, as yes Joyce was a juggernaut that kept coming, he was nigh on a walking punch bag that had no sway (no head movement) Brunos bombs against such a undefended target i do not think is going to end well for Joyce.

 

Bruno is a better version of Dubois and in a tightly fought contest Bruno prevails on pts .

 

Joyce is shite. A nice, likeable, down to earth lad and an honest, hardworking pro who has my respect for taking on Zhang when he didn't need to. But almost comically limited and slow, with his supposedly strongest attribute only really tested against Dubois prior to fighting Zhang.

Him being marketed in the UK as having a McCall/Chuvalo-esque chin was grotesquely premature. I suppose there's a small chance if he could get past the 8th or so that Bruno might flag and get overhauled or stopped, but Joyce doesn't have the power of Bonecrusher or Tyson, nor the decent ringcraft of Witherspoon. Far more likely imo that Bruno ****s him up with straight punches early to mid on much the way that Zhang did. Whatever Brunos faults, he wasn't a fighter against whom you could just repeatedly afford to dozily take flush, full-on power punches.

 

You're lying to yourself if you think a 13-1 Bonecrusher had anything on Joyce.

 

Toss up. Whoever is able to consistently land their jab more wins. If Joyce decides to just walk Bruno down for a slugfest, he probably gets stopped Bruno hit pretty damn hard himself and could be pretty accurate.

 

Joyce is so slow that if he throws a 4 punch combination the round is over.

He has one of the worse defenses a fighter can have, it's almost if it's on purpose...
it's crazy, maybe he is 100% shot and these two fights with Zhang are bad examples of how he is... but he is terribly bad skillwise.

 

Three times last week and the c*nt didn't even clean the toilet bowl. I told him straight, I did. I said to him, it's going to be a knuckle sandwich and a Barnsley kiss for you, Shagger my lad.
