When hasn't Joyce looked vulnerable in terms of taking shots? His chin hasn't looked particularly vulnerable yet though, so it's going to be an exciting fight.
My only issue with that is that Joyce is painfully slow, and I don't think he can damage Parker enough to stop him. Sure Joyce has a consistent, come forward style. Is it going to be enough though? Parker isn't just going to stand and trade punches like Dubois and Hammer.
Potentially. Personally I think it will go to decision. Battle of the chins here, wonder if that uppercut can crack it?
Paint Dry Parker couldn’t knock out a wank. Couldn’t even wobble Cojanu. The guy is boring and hopeless at the top level.
Great match up this Parker v Joyce and could as already mentioned could come down to a battle of the chins, certainly a 50/50 fight. Be interesting to see how it plays out .
But he still is making good money, you don’t have to be the best of the best to be considered as having a decent career and being set up for life. I think Parker can win against Joyce, maybe not on points but he could catch Joyce early.
Like his last fight This is another great opportunity for Parker to show he has gone up a gear - or two
I think he's going to have to show us some improvement if he's to beat Joyce, because no version of Parker I have seen beats Joyce. He's either going to have to show an improved work rate with the ability to throw and not get countered when doing so which is a huge problem for Parker and why he fights in spurts or he's going to have to show us he has learned to counter off the back foot and use his speed and movement to pick Joyce apart on the outside. If he doesn't show us one of these things he's just going to get out worked, pushed onto the back foot and forced to fight in spurts and will lose a clear decision. But the Chisora fight did show signs of improvement with his jab and how to use that to set up his power shots, so I suspect we will see the best version of Parker we've seen so far. But I'm doubtful he's had enough time to make the big improvements needed to be able to win this fight. But whoever wins I suspect this will be a cracking fight, it should be a good mix of styles.
