After promising signs of either Derek Chisora or Lenroy Thomas.... We end up with Tom Little... Can't help that fell that after a promising debut for Joyce against Lewison, and Haye's statements of "fast tracking" that it's all gone horribly downhill. Shame really.
Little Usyk easily beat Joyce, totally outclassed him, made him look like a fool! It was no contest! Joyce is 6 feet 6 inches tall, Usyk is only 6 feet 3 inches tall, yet it was a total mismatch!!!!!!!
It’s difficult for him at the moment because although he’ll want to jump in with a decent calibre of opponent, he is in the huge risk-tiny reward club. He needs a promoter who is willing to cough up silly amounts of money even to get Euro-level opponents in the ring.
Trouble is finding opponents without breaking the bank...Tom little is disappointing though...but perhaps he’s going to have to go on a run of KOs and become mandatory for a title to force a fight...
That's true, but the size difference was huge, not just height, but weight. This is a response to some that say Usyk can't fight at heavyweight because he is too small, well, if he goes up to heavyweight he will fight at around 220, that's more than Wilder weighs and I would bet my money on Usyk to out box Wilder.....................and Joshua.............Holyfield was smaller and weighed less, so I would not say Usyk has zero chance at heavyweight.............
Total bum fight. He’s just gone backwards after Lewison. I don’t blame Haye though, he has tried to make the Chisora fight which would have been good. Looks like Allen will get another shot at Big Lenroy then, because Haye wanted Joyce to fight for that belt.
Yeah too many people who think if you lose to an elite fighter like him it means your a no hopper, not any good, should retire etc lol.
I believe Billy Nelson was very open to putting Bakole in with Joyce so Haye can't say he can't get better opponents than Little for Joyce.
Chisora’s the only one who will look dumb after this saga because he’s turned down a six figure offer to box Joyce in order to fight Takam it seems. He will lose comprehensively to Takam in a punishing fight and will come crawling back to Haye, just watch.
