The problem is his promoter. Haye doesn't have enough weight or resources to mix with the big boys. If Haye had the necessary resources the Chisora fight would be easy to make. Pay Chisora a decent cheque and he will fight, simple as that. Why people are hyping Joyce I will never know, Tom Little is actually the level he should be fighting at until he can move on.

 

Haye is a small fish in this promoting game. Plenty of talk, no ££ to back it up.

 

Nah Haye’s making big moves. Have faith in him, it’s a long game. At least his giving is free-to-air boxing, although yes the competition needs to be upped before it gets boring.

 

So in that case its a smart move right?

Joyce is in a realy tough situation. He HAS to be fast tracked because of his age but why would established names fight him when they gain nothing from beating him?

 

Joe Joyce is in a bad situation career wise because of how late he turned over. At 32, coming up to 33, he needs to move fast because he hasn't got a long career ahead of him.
But why would people want to fight him? I've not seen anything to suggest he's world class, but he's good. So for anyone above British level, what is the benefit of fighting him?

Tom Little is useful and better than his record suggests, until he gets caught then it’s all over.

I don’t know who the hell people think Joyce should be facing. Unless Haye is prepared to offer bigger names big money, no one is going to take a fight against Joyce.

Joyce has no ranking to benefit from and he is also a very good HW.

At some point Haye is going to need to put up some big money to get a fight against a big name who gets Joyce’s ranking up.

 

Joyce isn’t a big name, he isn’t going to sell out arenas. He’s late on his career so needs big names quick but they can’t afford to pay them without the above! He’s stuck in a limbo. He needs to get himself a social media presence and start a beef with the likes of Whyte or Dubois or even a Price / Hughie. Get a decent British level fighter who can also sell tickets and hype it to be a big sort of fight.

 

Start with David Price for the English title...

 

Especially as only 2 weeks or so ago Haye said they no longer had any interest in Little as he's recently lost and were interested in better opponents. He also said he would not allow Chisora to fight on his bill unless it' v Joyce as he has power to stop it and would do. So be interested to see if Chisora fights Takam on David Hayes undercard !

 

If Haye is paying sherbet dip dabs and BFH why should Price fight his boy?

 

Haye will end up having to fight him himself at this rate...
