Joe Joyce vs. Wladimir Klitschko.

Joyce has problems with his defense and Wladimir is a puncher, Wladimir by knockout...

 

Great fight

Again it's another one where Wlad will gas out if Joyce fights correct and can chin the big stiff late bout

I think "prime" Joyce is pure iron and has great stamina...I don't see Wlad KO who has stamina issues.

Joyce knows how to throw awkward shots in close whilst coming in Foreman esque and would probably outwrestle Wlad in the clinch, although they'd both keep it long for the majority of the bout.

Wlad ahead mid bout but tiring and Joyce has to push the trigger and start getting on him and force the stoppage.

Would be a fun fight. strategy and execution vital.

I would have picked Wlad hands down two years ago but Joe Joyce has shown he has nuance that doesn't meet the eye easily, same applied with Tyson Fury before he came out of the closet.

Unfortunately for Wlad what makes him so great was his length of reign not necessarily the performances or opponents, unless you get hard seeing Povetkin get pushed over.

When AJ gets slapped by Usyk then make AJ Joyce asap.

 

Wlad has far more pedigree, experience and general know how to beat Joyce.

 

Klitschko KO in 6 rounds after grabbing a lot when Joyce gets close to him

 

Klitschko UD, by clinching five times per round.

 

This is a levels situation. Joyce is good but not special, Klitschko is a Hall of Famer. Prime Klitschko by KO.

 

Wlad would beat him to the punch all night long and then just move away or clinch to shut down Joyce's offence. Joyce wouldn't be able to work at his usual pace as he really doesn't have anything in his arsenal to negate Wlad's tactics. To beat Wlad you either need to be able to do what Fury did and prevent Wlad getting off first or you need to be able to break the clinches effectively and Joyce hasn't shown anything to suggest he has the kinds of skills to do either.

Joyce has a good chin and Wlad isn't the type to grind guys down so Wlad likely wins a clear decision.

Klitschko jabs and grabs easily to a clear UD. Joyce is too basic and doesn’t have the defensive ability to deal with Wlad

 

Wlad will either win a wide UD or by late knockout. Joyce is simply too friggin slow to bother a top shelf operator like Wlad. Yeah, he's big and tough, so what? Wach was bigger and tougher and a fat lot of good that did him.

 

Look at Joyce's resume... Then watch him fight... Then give your head a shake.

Some questions can be grammatically perfect and yet utter gobbledegook - this is one of them.

Don't understand people thinking Joyce would get KO'd, he takes huge shots and it doesn't faze him at all.

Wlad by UD. Joyce chin is insane.

 

Wach was 250 lbs when he fought Wlad, a good bit lighter than Joyce. He also doesn't fight anything like Joyce. Not saying Joyce would beat Wlad but you can't compare him to Wach.

 

Joyce chin looks good... But what serious, granite cracking, murderous puncher has he actually been in with?

Dubois looks like he's probably the biggest puncher Joe's fought, but he's not exactly all that proven, is he?


I don't disagree, Wlad would definitely win on points if it goes the distance.
I just don't know whether Joyce would be able to take an accumulation of decent hits off a fighter who's levels upon levels beyond anyone Joe's actually fought - TKO seems entirely plausible, if not outright KO.
