Joe Joyce vs Zhang

Good fight

 

I think it’s a good fight. I do think it’s a one sided win for Joyce but Zhang is tough and was very game in his last fight that he should have won.

Not really sure where Joyce goes now. The Parker win and style of win has him at title level, they are just all tied up at the moment.

 

Sadly with a Usyk v Fury potential trilogy on the way, Joe could easily be in his 40s before he gets his World Title chance.

These rematch clauses etc need stopped as defeated Champions should earn their right to challenge for titles after moving up the rankings with wins.

 

Fun while it lasts.

 

Zhang is dangerous early and Joe has a bad habit of getting tagged in the first few rounds. That’s the only thing that interests me about this fight otherwise it should be a late stoppage for Joyce

 

Good fight. Zhang beat Hergovic in my view and I wouldn’t sleep on him landing something big on Joyce early. That said, Joyce breaks him down for a midway stoppage.

 

If this is in London I might go along if the tickets are reasonably priced. Yet to see Joyce live and this could be a fun one to watch.
