    https://www.skysports.com/boxing/ne...nge-winner-for-future-heavyweight-title-fight

    WBO IS CURRENTLY -

    Joshua (c)
    Usyk
    Joyce
    Parker
    Ruiz JR
    Sanchez
    Hunter
    Ortiz

Logically the best option would be Joyce vs Parker. But after Parker's terrible display vs Chisora, which I believe Chisora won or at least got a draw, I'm not so sure. But then again, Joyce has not proven himself above that level yet.

    Joyce vs Parker
    Joyce vs Ruiz JR
    Joyce vs Ortiz.

    Who deserves a shot more?

Hunter doesn't deserve a shot after ducking Hrgovic, IMO.

    ----------------

    In my opinion -

Joyce vs Parker could go either way. Neither are getting KO'd, it'll be a close points decision.

Joyce vs Ruiz JR - I'd expect Ruiz Jr to outpoint him.

Joyce vs Ortiz - I think Ortiz could win this on points, but it depends. If Ortiz is as good as he was against Wilder, then I think Ortiz could take it, but he's now 42. Probably Joyce KO at some point.

No he won't. Because AJ vs. Fury won't be happening. Usyk vs. Fury will.

I like any of the 3. I want to see more of him. He appears a bit slow and I thought he was losing to Dubois by a small margin at the time of the stoppage, but I like how he comes in shape, ready to fight. Also how he fights tall and methodically and that jab has to have some sauce on it. I could get on a JJ train.

Chisora deserves a shot more than Ortiz for that matter.

Joyce is a fun guy to watch but he will be 36 next month and he wants to get that title shot ASAP. The problem is, he will have to get in line. After the Usyk fight, there are 2 other belts that will have mandatories come up. That's a 1 to 2 year wait at least. So if he stays undefeated, he'll be 38 by the time he gets his shot.

    Joyce 100 per cent

Last thing we need is paint dry Parker back as a mandatory

With the shape he keeps himself in, he'll still be ok at 38 I think. He's getting no better and probably no worse in 2 years.

Any one else think Ortiz will be the likely options as he'll be after one last pay day..

... and paid to drop his hands in the 9th?

Amy Timlin couldn't afford to pay for her kit so Big Joe Joyce offered to pay for it for her because he's a scholar and a gent

Who deserves it more, I'd say Parker. I thought he beat Chisora in a close fight and that's a better win than Ruiz beating Arreola in a lacklustre display or Ortiz beating Flores. Ortiz is probably the least deserving as he's never been a title holder unlike the other two and his opposition since losing to Wilder has been dire to say the least.

I think Joyce outworks Parker to win a decision. Parker won't be able to KO Joyce, he'll have his moments but he'll get backed up too much and simply won't do enough and loses a decision.

Ruiz Jr could be competitive with his counters we might see a fight similar to Joyce/Takam with Ruiz Jr being out worked but landing the harder more eye catching punches. If it goes the distance which is might, it might be close and controversial as you'll have Joyce with his work rate but Ruiz Jr with his cleaning punching. I'm favouring Joyce to win a decision or stop him late.

Ortiz will be dangerous early with his counters but he's old with cardiovascular disease, he'll fade and get stopped in the 2nd half of the fight if he can't KO Joyce. I'm thinking Joyce survives the odd scare early and comes back to stop Ortiz.

I'm not sure. 38 is a lot different than 35. And can he keep fighting bums until he gets his shot?
