Joe Joyce will do what Foreman did.

Tyson Fury and Joe Joyce are physical phenoms. They have shown a new physical meta in HW boxing. Both are extraordinarily special it's an honour to watch them.

Absolute titans. 270 pound men with stamina and work rate which has never been seen. Fury even more of a phenom because he has agility and speed also.

Joyce looks to be coming into his prime just as Fury falls out of his or atleast Fury has changed his style in a way that gives Joyce less problems. Fury has always had the ability to be the titan in hard pressed fights with toughness and size to overcome the obstacle he can't apply that with Joyce because he's just as big and tough.

Usyk is great but he will come unstuck against Fury and retire.

 

Outwork and outpower opponents. I can see it coming but I think the HW division has changed since then and we have alot more 'super' heavyweights a similar size to Joyce (eg. Fury, Wilder). Will be interesting to see if he can plough through, dominate and bully them.

 

Unlike Foreman Joyce does not have age on his side and he won't be getting any title shot until second half 2024 as Post fury usyk WBA,IBF and mostly probably WBC will be pushing their mandatories before WBO.

 

Well he can wait till he's 46 or whatever like George did then.

 

not aesthetic but effective, he is tough and hits hard and has a good jab. He is a threat to the division though he is easy to hit. I am interested to see what he can do

 

Zhang will show whether Joyce can keep relying on his toughness to walk through shots although Joyce does normally go back to his long range boxing against hitters like he did Dubious.

 

agreed though zhang struggles to go a hard 12 rounds. I think the fight will show us a lot of his toughness as zhang is a strong banger

Usyk beat Joyce in the amatuers just after Joyce won olympic silver, Joyce didn`t hurt Usyk once.

 

A prime Usyk was pressed all the way against a 240 pound toddler Joyce who was even less nuanced in a 5 rounder. Pro fight would go very different.

 

Yes i think Zhang will answer alot of questions on how exactly tough Joyce is. If he can walkthrough Zhang's punches then i will definitely stand up and take notice.

lol! Prime, he was just an amateur and went onto gain far more experience than Joyce has, he`s P4P the best fighter in the world, when the hell did Joyce prove he could beat a fighter like Usyk? Also their match wasn`t close at all.

 

Fury and Usyk both have the style and ring smarts to beat Joyce comfortably,that’s not to say Joyce won’t have his moments with his relentless style but Fury and Usyk are too clever and would finesse there way to a win imo .

 

George had more skill and better ring IQ. Young Foreman just didn't apply it as much once he saw how easy it was to demolish competition.
