His size, desire and stamina will see him be a handful for most heavyweights out there. Outside the top guys there's not a lot about so Joe is very welcome to the mix. 32 isn't ideal but a guy his size may not reach his prime for another couple of years. His renowned engine means he can be fast tracked. Seems a lovely fella who isn't reading from a script, hope he does well.

Joyce v Dubois s a great matchup to see who goes onto bigger things early on.

I would love to see that but no way will Haye or Warren allow it unless there is sizeable money involved.

In his first fight with Lewison, I was very critical of his left hand (particularly the hook) which was really poor. By his 4th fight, he put Thomas in Narnia with it.

He looks a really good fighter to me. He throws an awful lot of shots, his work rate is impressive. I thought he was reckless against Thomas but it was clear that he didn’t respect his power.

He’s an excellent addition to the heavyweight scene.

He honestly doesn’t throw one shot as it should be thrown and his balance is awful. Stand off and he will bully and ware you down but anyone with a decent defence who can get inside and is decent quality I can see Joyce getting sparked badly.

his the sort of fighter where against the top fighters he could be caught cold early and stopped but if he isn't hurt early he will just be there all fight not giving you a break at all and if his stamina is as good as they say for the full fight then he could do well in the sport imo

    This would be great!!

I think Joyce is probably around gatekeeper world level. Will he beat AJ for a world title, probably not. But i'd like to see him in witht the likes of Miller, Breazeale, Charr etc to see where he's really at.
I know he's only had 4 fights, but he's 32 and on the move quick.

Hopefully the commonwealth title makes him more marketable and desirable to fight.

He has a fun to watch style with his high output...

With Haye gone I'm not sure how he is going to get on bigger cards...Will Hearn be willing to do Haye a favour and put him on his cards?

Hopefully Hayemaker Ringstar can secure a terrestrial deal that is going to do bigger numbers than Dave...

Yeah theres no reason to hang back. He has been in the ring with world class boxers over many years. Wouldnt mind seeing him in with Whye to be honest but that wont happen.

They really need to offer big sums to make these fights quickly

Agree everytime he has gotten in the ring he seems a little more polished, better punching technique (in terms of pro style) and hits a little harder.

I quite like his reserved personality also, I dont need bells and whistle to like someone. He seems like a very decent guy.

He's called out Jarrell Miller now. It won't happen but I do like how he seems willing to fight anybody.

None of these guys are going to fight him as he's too high risk/low reward.

Needs to keep active and work his way through the rankings and make himself impossible to ignore.

    Having belts helps!

Thomas wasn't a bad fighter and he walked right through him...

Who next? Maybe Kabayel for the European...Why not?! Can't imagine he'd ask for that much money...

Or David Price for the commonwealth? Joyce would destroy him but potentially exciting on paper...
