I can see why you’d say that, he was a decent amateur and he’s an established pro heavyweight with 26 fights...He’s been out the ring for a year now though. What’s his big wins...Tony Thompson, Chisora, Ustinov? Not exactly a big puncher either. Not writing him off, he is solid but he’s not this exceptional talent either.

Joyce is not some kid who’s just started out, or turned pro with no boxing experience (like Whyte and Browne). He doesn’t need to learn his trade. I’m not saying he’s going to be this big star, but at 6”6, with fast hands & solid fundamentals, he goes straight in that top 10 in my eyes cos it’s a crap division (for skill).

According to Eddie Hearn the Chisora fight is not happening.

Sorry, the fight he was supposed to have on the Whyte/Browne card? Or the Joyce fight?

The Joyce fight. In Hearns latest IFL interview. Thought it was the wrong move for delboy as Hearn said the money is not good enough for a fight that will probably end his competitive career.

Chisora was never gonna take that fight unless it's was his final fight for retirement money but chisora can fight trash and keep building the paydays up against trash then fight at European/fringe world level win go on get some more paydays lose just rebuild again until he can't win at any level these alot more money chisora can make in boxing he can't be skint from what ave heard his done well with his money but I could be wrong

Joyce doesn't merit a Chisora fight yet, he hasn't fought anybody who is even top 150-200 journeyman level. Losing that fight would sink Chisora's rankings and going by what Haye pays it won't be a great check either.

Unlike many of the Jordan lady types, these were real boobs.

21st 7lbs with at least 45% body fat - a shocking advert for Boxing probably seen by a wider audience than those that watch fights on Sky Box Office.

Good post.. i see a few posters going slightly overboard on the matchmaking imo but i do think Thomas would be a good shout at this point. He has a couple of selling points in that hes beat Allen and also he has a c/w belt.
You could tell that since Thomas won that belt its opened up a new way of looking at things. His resume before the Allen fight didnt read that good tbh but you could tell for the rematch Thomas realised he had a meal ticket and he was going to fight to keep hold of it. I know the rematch only lasted a rd but hed taken it serious and hed put a lot into his training. In the little time we saw of him he looked good did thomas, he put some real nice combos together in that first rd.
His spaw stance and new found belief himself should pose some puzzles for Joyce to solve.
Thomas would be easily affordable and id expect Joyce to win.
It would be a fight id look forward to.
