Frazier ? that little small guy that beat Muhammed Ali? Last time I saw the fight Foreman left Lyle flat on his face. Ken Norton would beat the living crap outta Toney and Frazier would kill him. Who in the living hell did Toney beat at heavyweight to make you think he'd beat George Foreman? I'll wait

I shall address the first point. Foreman was two years off Frazier he didn't look any better and hadn't ironed out the same floors Young and Ali would expose later. I think it is at the very least indicative that Foreman isn't knocking James out or chasing him down he has taken the punches of guys just as powerful for 12 and outmanoeuvred much, much more skilled operators like Jirov for example at CW.

While Peralta and James both may not be powerful James has the chin and skills to stand in the pocket and skills to make Foreman's shots soar over his head all night. He isn't going to square up and make it a punch out he ain't running but he will make George miss big and counter him all night.

I have a question- Do you think Foreman is going to actually connect with James with those "Punches" he throws? Yes- he was cautious at times he also looked like the Chinese Buddha and taught those guys a lot about boxing and had them looking hopeless in spots the issue with using those fights is while lesser boxers then George they were doing things Foreman would not they had the right mentality of it and had a much better gas tank like I said how many of those caveman punches will he throw before he calls it quits? by the fourth in RITJ he was pretty much slapping. Using Chuvalo is a bad measuring stick he literally sat there helplessly eating shots because he never heard of head movement It would be the same result with anyone heck he was crushed by Frazier and he wasn't old in that one.

Muhammad was largely inspired by the Peralta fight and saw an easy fight he scarcely looked hurt was poised and took it to Foreman. Just because he didn't move doesn't mean he couldn't why run and walk into a shot when you can land insulting lead rights on the ropes all night. If Young did the work why couldn't Ali? I know it isn't 1-1 but the way Jimmy had Foreman looking if you take away the very few good catches George got.....

Peters used the jab because he learnt his lesson. Foreman is and never would have tried staying back pecking at a former MW playing safety first he would do what he did and try to crush James as fast as he could. He'd be pot shotted all night and be stumbling around thinking his water was drugged again after throwing too many big shots too soon against a much more skilled guy.

Lol Hyperbole. Frazier was a face first guy who was made for Foreman. Norton was glass- maybe Frazier would? probably but we are talking about Foreman. Styles make fights Toney has the right cards to play.
