Tyson with out all the personal demons could have been.

Joe louis is the best Heavyweight champion there ever was best ive ever seen.

Man didnt really have the flair and glamour of Ali but he sure and the heck was a better fighter.

Ali had a great chin but i really feel Joe louis would have knocked Ali out.

He would ko both the klits in a 15 round bout.

    He was the greatest.

No, Billy Conn outboxed him. I'm pretty sure Ali would beat him. Great fighter for sure. I can't split him and Marciano as my number 2.

Yeah, after being outboxed for 12 rounds and outweighing him by 25lbs. ATG or not, that's a pretty good gauge for how Ali could beat him given no heavyweight could box and move like Ali at his best

Head to head or p4p there's room for argument.

But in terms of "the greatest HW champion of all time" as a statement - I agree.

You're an idiot. Joe Louis drained himself to weigh under 200 then suffered from dehydration later in the fight. In the Rematch Louis beat him to a pulp. Oh and Conn wasnt widely ahead thats another myth the cards were close Louis only trailed on 2 of 3

Tough to argue with a 12 year reign and 25 successful title defenses in a row. Ali is my pick for best HW fighter, but Louis may well be the divisions greatest champion, and if anyone picked him for this position, I sure as hell wouldn't argue with that choice.

Honestly though Ali would have cleaned Louis' clock.

Both Klitschkos beat him, Lennox beats him, Ali beats him.

    Sorry, nostalgia.

If Louis thought Shmeling and Marciano were hard hitters, Wladimir would be able to rock him to his core with quarter strength jabs.

If Wlad got Kod by 2 journeyman, theyed have to call the police on Joe Louis.

Wlad fights defensive against fat cruiserweights with no power. Imagine against a master boxer who Kod almost every heavy in the world l

Excuses. He claimed he wanted to weigh under 200 so they wouldn't accuse him of beating a smaller man. Conn did outbox him until he got caught. So he beat him in the rematch with the size advantage more prevalent, things being fairer Conn was able to outbox him in the first fight. Ali wouldn't be giving up any size advantage and would be able to do what Conn did and could take Louis's punches
