    Hey I’m back!

How about that left hook from hell? Still amazes me 83 years later I still haven’t seen a puncher as impressive as Joe Louis.

His hand speed is highly under appreciated.

Seeing this fight reminds of the Louis-Al McCoy film. I always have thought McCoy did a real good job against Joe. No dog in him. He stood up well and was never down or even close as I recall. The fight was stopped on a cut at the end of a round, maybe because McCoy decided he didn't want to absorb an unnecessary beating. Even if that was the case, he showed a lot of heart. He was outgunned and outweighed, but he must have had something or Joe would have gotten to him earlier. I found these links on youtube. I admit I haven't watched the fight in years. I just remember being impressed by McCoy's performance when I watched it many years ago. Many bigger names did not fare anywhere near as well against Joe.
