I'm looking to sell Joe Louis' classic autobiography, in complete mint condition. It is quite the read, not to mention rare and highly valuable. The price and authenticity will go up years from now, but I don't have the patience for that. I'm currently starting the price at $50. :hey

I also have SRR's autobiography for sale. May not be as rare, but a great read nonetheless.

i bought an original copy, first pressing, of joe louis's book last week on ebay for a tenner....good condition.
it was maybe the most enjoyable book i ever read....after someone recommended it on here.

    how much for SRR's one.

i have frazier's a/b on the way...but that cost me 23 euros from an amazon private seller

SRR's would be around $40. Much longer read than Joe's and, in my opinion, is just as good with its direct, friendly way of storytelling. Two excellent books indeed.

I didn't want to create a new thread for this, but in 1935 there was published an early auto-bio of Louis, as told to Gene Kessler - Joe Louis Own Story. Born To Fight ( https://picclick.co.uk/1935-Rare-Vintage-Joe-Louis-Own-Story-Born-273319046262.html )

The story was also printed in the newspapers. Here are all 10 chapters, if anybody is curious.
