I don't think I've heard a fighter talk bad about Joe apart from Ali but he's said numerous times Joe was the greatest.

SRL great fighter but I've seen a few disregard Floyd Mayweather Jr to name the latest.

Joe gets my vote on that one but in terms of skill I have to pick Joe. His reign was too dominant, Baer and Conn weren't bums but Joe turned them into one, don't matter who was in front of him in that time Frazier,Ali,Klitschko all would be KO'd.

A heavyweight with the ability of Hearns ? What an awesome vision THAT conjures up !! We'd be talking about a fighter with George Foreman like brute force and power, but with better all round boxing skills than George had.

Both Joe and Ray were very skilled in different ways. Looking at their records,Leonard wins out in QUALITY,but because of Joe's longevity at the top,he takes it on QUANTITY.

In terms of pound for pound. I have Sugar Ray Leonard at #2. Had he fought from 82-84 I'd probbly have him #1. I have Joe Louis within the top 10.
