I was just at Boxrec.com and saw that Joe's win total has been reduced from 69 to 65, does anyone know why? I assume its because of updated confirmations but I was wondering if any of you guys had any details. I dont like seeing wins leave his record.

It looks like some of his wins in 1935 are now not counted (Benton, Stanton, Davis, and Toles),

According to boxrec, they're probably now viewed as exhibitions. The win over Bennett was "billed as exhibition" according to wiki.

There's also the win in 1944 over Johnny Davis which is not counted on the Monte Cox page, is said to be "non-title" on the wiki page, but still is on the boxrec record and said it was a title fight per the NYSAC ruling.
