I cloned his voice through artificial intelligence and had him read the 1967 article he wrote in Ring Magazine called, "How I Would Have Clobbered Clay." I think this is a unique experience. Get comfortable and check it out. :)

EDIT: I just completed another one with Rocky Marciano. It's his voice reading an excerpt from a boxing book he wrote in 1957.

EDIT #2: Alright, champs. Here is a video of "Joe" speaking about his battle with Rocky Marciano. The words were taken from his autobiography, "My Life."

EDIT #3: I guess I'm on a roll lately. Here is a transcript of a phone call between Rocky Marciano and a reporter about the Joe Frazier/Jerry Quarry fight.

EDIT #4. An AI interview with Floyd Patterson.

Dang, AI is both fascinating & scary at the same time. Amazing how it even replicates inflections & hesitations in speech.

I have honestly made arguments for either of these guys winning. I think Louis would struggle with Ali's footwork and speed. I think Ali would struggle with Louis' combination power-punching and speed. Ali was faster but much the lighter puncher. Louis was a plodder compared to Ali but Ali still has to hit him to win. And Ali was not unhittable and Louis would be arguably the fastest dude to have faced Ali. While I think Ali's win over Foreman eclipses Louis' best wins, I also think Foreman was not a very good boxer and that Ali is kinda overrated if one casts a critical eye over his career. Louis makes a great argument for himself in this audio clip. No doubt Ali would be able to do the same. Thumbs up.

How about cloning Gene Tunney's voice and having him read his argument of when Jack Dempsey could of beating Harry Kid Matthews, Joe Walcott, Ezzard Charles, and Rocky Marciano on the same night, one after the other in less than 5 rounds.

I may do that. I have Tyson and Marciano's voices cloned as well. Does anyone have something Marciano published or wrote? I am planning on doing the same thing with his AI voice, but I can't find anything.

What technology do you use? There are so many opportunities for something like this, like with Jack Johnson, Corbett, Jeffries and others

I use different sites to train AI models. My favorites are Weights.gg and Kitts AI.

I imagine the voice-over software bursting in laughter halfway through the article.

There are some hilarious Presidential debates between Biden & Trump (Obama, the Bush’s, & the Clinton’s occasionally chime in) where the two men are competing for control of the Roman Senate (making debate points relevant to real Roman history, such as Trump referring to the plague of Justinian’s Age as, “the Egyptian virus,” & Biden calling him an Egyptophobic racist, & so on). The modelling isn’t quite perfect but it’s damn near it. Trump’s inflections are frighteningly convincing.

    Hi Buddy.
Not often I get to discuss with such a seasoned and sensible poster such as yourself, so if I might be so bold, when this or any other fight comes up about Ali, I get a little confused, because the fighter had 2 careers in essence, up to 67, then the later career 70s onwards, you have called him Ali, and referenced the Foreman fight, so it's safe to assume you mean his 2nd career, if so then I think Louis has more of a chance getting a win, than against the earlier fighter, the Clay of 66/67 would ,I believe have the beating of Joe, by the Williams and Folley fights, he had developed in to a almost flawless fighter, he had put on weight, and muscle, and could have been in some eyes ( mine ) the perfect build for a HW, you can always cherry pick examples to suit your case, I know that, but the fact Conn had outboxed Louis for a long stretch, bodes well for Clay, as for him being much the lighter puncher, compared to Louis yes, as was nearly all the past HWs and future ones come to that, I have always felt his punching has been slightly understated, particularly in his 70s reign, there you have it, just my opinion.
Nice to chat, buddy, stay safe.

Awesome post!! I love Joe Louis and would like to say he would win, but that first Billy Conn fight really gives me pause.

It’s a shame Louis didn’t re-visit this toward the end of Ali’s career. He would clearly have to walk back the courage insult. I suppose he’s still talking about prime Ali though, so that’ll have to be good enough.

My new one with Mr. 49-0 himself, Rocky Marciano! This is from a book he wrote in 1957 with Charley Goldman.

    60s Ali wins UD.

I don't know about 70s Ali, I really don't see him making it, personally.
