The last two punches from Louis Galento and Louis Conn 2 were among the greatest combination punches in boxing history. Trip hammer quick, perfectly thrown and with lethal power.

Rez, a work of art ! How naïve for some to think that any heavyweight in history ,including Clay/Ali, would survive the onslaught of a young Joe Louis once he had you hurt. Yes, he was a patient man who you could avoid disaster for awhile, but in his peak his trip hammer blows sooner or later found it's mark and woe to his opponent on the receiving end...Great job Rez on Je Louis, lest we foget...

Burt, I always appreciate the fact that you watch my work. I'm happy to know I did him justice in your eyes.

We will never forget. We can't. He was so damned good, we don't even have a choice.
