Tony hit like a truck with that left hook at 233lb. He was tough as nails and strong. He was dangerous despite being incredibly inept in some areas and cartoonish in appearance Louis’ accuracy and combination punching is the greatest on film we have ever seen. Look at the right he kept his back foot at almost 90 degree angle at all times, he always set his feet perfectly to maximize leverage. simply put Joe Louis is easily one of the greatest fighters of all time I would not favor anyone past present or future at 200lb or below over a peak Joe Louis
That's actually a smart idea - since you're going to be at a disadvantage no matter what, might as well embrace it to such extent that it makes the other fighter uncomfortable as well.
