Who are you using as an equivalent for this one. Patterson? Frazier?

I don't deny it. He's my favorite fighter. As long as I don't start taking about his body like you and Suzie do with the Rock i think I'm alright

Anyone that ever came to either one of them, really.

Louis is sometimes my favourite fighter, too.

In theeory, Louis should be able to beat any heavyweight that ever lived with the right fight plan.

He basicaly has everything, so it comes down to who comes to the fight with the better strategy.

True, but we do have a nice little style equivalent for a hypothetical Louis-Foreman and Louis-Liston in the Baer fights. I'm just saying that there's no fighter I can think of who stylewise is really similar to the bomber that foreman or liston fought.

BTW Joe was the man for giving Walcott a rematch after getting outboxed. He knew he lost that one. Him putting away Jersey Joe in the rematch is one of the most impressive past-prime accomplishments i've seen. Pretty solid fireworks for an old man.

No - I feel longelivity and knockout ratio are overrated as the majority of his reign was in the weakest heavyweight era ever post-1900.

Even in a weak era it takes an exceptional champion to acheive longevity while fighting the best around.

That is why there have been so few heavyweight champions who have enjoyed long title reigns.

No era is that weak, and there is always sombody out there who can trim you if you come in at less than 100%.

Oh, make no mistake in the Marciano fellatio pound for pound rankings you're a clear #3, behind Rockysplitnose and Suzie. H2H i think you might be the superior oral pleasure specialist, but your resume's lacking a little depth in terms of overall italian hairy schlong.

Ray Robinson, Harry Greb, Sam Langford, and Henry Armstrong. There's a few.

Perhaps, but in the heavyweight class, he is going to tend to gravitate towards the #1 slot.
