I expect you pu6t in"skilled puncher" to omit Baer ,which seems reasonable, the thing is with Archie ,as late as 1945 he was scaling 162 for a fight with Loyd Marshall, and in, 1946 ,when he fought Charles, he only weighed 174.Moore said he didnt want the match out of respect to Louis,he said he was approached by Ezaard Charles ,when Charles was totally shot as a fighter ,about another fight,he declined saying"you just keep it for your Grandchildren ,that you beat Old Archie 3 times".Moore knew that he would have had no trouble with Charles by then ,but didnt want to hurt him.

Like everybody else I pick Louis but I think Moore would give him a lot of problems.

If we are talking about actual possible scenarios where the fight could have happened then eventualy Moore takes a declining Louis.

Forget the Conn fight, Billy had those fast hands & feet & Joe couldnt catch him for a while but Moore only has to mis-time 1 of those shoulder rolls & Louis would make him pay & likely put him out for 10.

    Louis KO7 Moore
