    What are your thoughts of the fight? Take note Beshore went 14 good rounds with heavyweight champion Ezzard Charles the year before in a title defense.

    Hope people got to see this one. What was Beshore thinking ever walking into Joe Louis

    I have never seen this fight but Beshore looked OK and took the fight to Louis which you have to give him credit for.

    I'm pretty sure he would not have walked into a prime Louis,at least not for long.
    Beshore doesn't look much to me, he lacks cleverness,and power,but is willing enough ,I beleive he was a mob controlled fighter.

    Freddie Beshore was game, against Charles too. But it's probably fair to say he was a third-rater.

    Game and not off his feet ,but I think he only won a couple of rounds against Charles.

    You would know something about the mob right? Didn't louis have mob influence that controlled the outcome of Pastor-Louis I? :lol:
