It just proves that 1970s heavyweights are overrated.

When i saw the way those links were posted, i knew something fishy was going on!

I think Louis has the style and skills to pick Foreman apart and use his lack of defense. However, Foreman has a game chance because of his size and power combined with the fact that Louis will not stay away from him.

Well if we're going to start talking about the ATG match up as opposed to the one posted (poor form in my view) i'll pick Louis every time. I am almost alone in the world in thinking that Foreman is THE great heavyweigt for Louis. I think Joe beats George inside of three rounds, possibly one.

For once I didnt vote as this is really hard to pick a winner.

On 1 hand I can see louis getting his punches off 1st each time but on the other hand I have difficulty seeing how joe can avoid georges bombs as only ali was able to do effectively due to his unorthodox style.

Joe is anything but unorthodox, he is possibly the most textbook boxer to ever lace them up.
Both have superb chins but if schmelling could dent joe, what could several foreman bombs do & if ali could put gf down for 10, what would louis do.

I really dont know, in a 5 fight series, nobody wins 5-0, thats as close a prediction as I can give, sorry, great great fight tho.

Holmes was decked twice as champ. Hardly a 'fair few times'.

I could legitimately take his entire career into acount. When was Louis droped by anybody like Isaac for example?

Louis was never decked untill he fought Max Schmeling at which point he had probably fought more ranked fighters than Foreman did in his first career.
