This ones for you, Bert. Well, you know Jones was around 200 Lbs. for his fight against "Smokin" John Ruiz and Louis being on the smallish side at 200 - 205 at his best...
Jones would be too afraid of Louis to take any risk and try to run and hide for the most part. Louis is fast enough to catch Roy but Jones´ strategy will mean this will be a very boring fight with Jones running and Louis shuffling after him. Nevertheless Louis will win the rounds since there won´t be much action and he will be the aggressor and also more likely to come out on top when they engage. Potshotting won´t win Jones rounds here. But won´t last long because the first combination Louis lands means lights out for Roy. Louis KO3 Jones.

Respectfully L, do you understand Boxing or Baseball or Football, that it is who wins at the end that counts ? This nonsense that Jones will win until Louis "catches" him is a nonsequitur ...Like Germany was winning the War until the Allies won, or after Pearl Harbor, Japan was winning the war until America defeated Japan....Every boxer of note won many rounds until the dynamite puncher caught them....It is who wins at the end that COUNTS, and this silly thread is meaningless as a prime Roy Jones at 168 or so would never in his right mind challenge the larger trip hammer punching Brown Bomber in his prime !. NEVER... P.S. Tell me what top lightheavyweight in his prime did Roy Jones beat ?
