Oh get stuffed. Bringing up a past of a changed man is pathetic especially when its unrelated.
    Mong? Are you brain dead.

Apologies, I'm sure the 4 years he spent in prison was sufficient time for the murder of a young man, as well as the 6 days he spent when he was tried for the murder of another man.

Sorry Burt, I was comparing the posters that constantly put down jones to republicans. :good it's meant to be an insult. You've given jones respect even though we disagree on some things.

Conn did.. walcott did.. charless did... all every good boxers but non with the speed of Jones. Not saying Jones wins.. but Prime Jones could certainly win a WIDE UD if Joe never caught up to him. Joe was usually better in rematches anyways.. I could see him dropping the first.. and then ending Jones' career or career at HW at least.

One of History's most savage finishers against one of the worst Glass Jaws around?:rofl:patsch

Louis would but Jones into a Coma in 2 or 3 rounds. Complete mis-match.

whoa! burt, i think you misunderstand me. look at my original post. my problem isn't with the fact people think louis would win. it's the constant bull**** people spew about jones.

k, my question was not about what posters say about Roy Jones, they have a n opinion. But what has "Republican", to do with your answer. ? I'm
    perplexed ???

I'd put my money on the 175 Jones doing a lot better than the heavyweight Jones against Louis. Despite the weight difference, Roy's speed and movement would frustrate Joe just like Billy Conn did. If it's a 12 round contest, Jones has a chance. I don't think he's beating Louis over 15 rounds. Roy's legs wouldn't hold up in the late rounds to keep him away from Louis' power.

Just remember that 175 Jones, as well as 168 Jones, is actually about 185 pounds in the ring. What do you think Jones would do to Louis' face with those little ass gloves over 12 rounds? Louis has absolutely no defense for that kind of hand speed. And Louis' chin isn't that good. People need to stop acting like Jones couldn't hurt him.

Jones wears his gloves. Without them, his punching style would change up.
