Louis is just better on every front.

no competition, clean outboxing of ko4clev, though its quite possible that Joe gets dropped more than once.

If they had of had a cruiser weight division it would of been at the old limit of 190lbs and there would of been same day weigh-in

The hype is getting stupid now. Kovalevs best win is over a 50 yr old man. Louis by KO

Well since you're pretending to be a genius and aficionado on Joe Louis, then you should know he was staggered countless times, knocked down countless times(by today's standards he'd be a glass jawed bum), lost 3 times, Mauriello nearly dropped him twice in the 1 round they fought, and Louis' weight was 190 POUNDS for most of his fights. that's in the light Heavyweight region and also probably Kovalev's walking around weight.

Kovalev's conditioning is far better than those guys back then and his skill level exceeds theirs, so its not out of the question the Sergey could stop Louis. Stop prentending the fighters from the 30's were amazing brilliant Mayweather like craftsmen in the ring they were crude rudimentary brawlers with little to no skill. And Louis wasn't very skilled himself, and don't leave out the bum squad that he fought.

And for the record you should know the difference between Campillo and Caparello, Campillo is an incredibly talented boxer who most real fans are very aware of, especially considering he beat Cloud and was robbed and beat Shumenov and Murat and was robbed all 3 before BHop got to them.

So you're amusing I wasn't aware Louis hit the canvas in his career , thus i'm a 'pretend' fan of him?

What makes you suggest that. Is that your defensive mechanism after coming off a clown.

I know plenty about Joe Louis yokel. He's come off the canvas to destroy bigger and harder hitters than Kovalev and weighed between 190 and 210 , but weight doesn't win fights. The skills of one of the greatest fighters ever does

Galento for one, was a fatty and displayed a ridiculous level of stamina. Ohter guys fought hard , tough 15 rounders at a high pace.

How is Kovalev better condidtioned? What fight is that based on?

It HAS to be based on his only 12 round performance?

    No?
