I said may, which is basically my way of saying that Vitali style-wise and attribute wise would be better off against Louis... even if he would lose. Wlad would be hopeless if he started catching leather.

Vitali fight in a era were fighters dont know how to punch and smaller guys cant block and punch slip or bob and weave.

    joe kos them both.

It's not that I dont think a prime Tyson could stop him if thats what your implying  I just think Vitali would survive and lose via a close but decisive UD to Tyson in a war.

Oh and a prime Lewis (based on a past prime coming close) would have a chane as well.

    Tyson? :rofl

Lennox Lewis was the first and really only guy I had in mind. This is is a significantly larger man than "Young Foreman" although people tend to imagine he was 240+ in the 1970s. Lewis in shape, with proper functional balance and coordination would cleanly slice Vitali's head off prime-for-prime. He already stopped him in reality and looked like a big sloppy hog in there.

True, but was that really a prime Vitali. In my eyes he was a little green. Still an A level heavyweight, but you could argue his prime was early after his comeback, but yer Lewis has a good chance to stop him.

    Either Klitschko easily destroys Louis.

Vitali is a real tough fight for Joe in all honesty. Big, awkward and real decent footwork. toss up fight.

Louis gets Wlad out of there by the mid-rounds catching Wlad pulling back along the ropes and finishing him. Louis was one of the best finishers ever IMO and Bad Wlad tends to go full ****** once he gets hurt.

Who hit the deck more often against more mediocre HEAVYweight opposition, Waldo or Joseph Barrow?

    I dare.

And yes, Sam Peter, head to head, is far superior. Lightyears.

I think I just shook my Classic Forum lobotomy.

Chris Byrd who was just a little bigger than Louis and no where near as talented and powerful hung well against the brothers outlasting one and lasting to decision for a beating with the other. Louis had a very good chance against the giant bros.

Brothers are a tough match up for anyone but I like Louis's finishing pressure to get to Vlad and I think he puts the pressure on Vitali for the RSC late.....Louis is my favorite but these fights would present problems for Joe in all honesty and plenty of danger.

While there is no fighter like Joe Louis around since his day, there also have never been two big quality heavyweights like the Klitschko's ever other than Lennox Lewis but I still think Louis stops all 3
