I already asked you once, but I'll try again: please explain to me, where "hot housing" enters the picture... and what it has to do with Fury vs Louis.

You have repeatedly used the first Schmeling fight, as an argument against Louis, while dismissing Fury's early hiccups as irrelevant.

This was a loss sustained by a hot housed young fighter.

There has to be consistency of approach.

No proof whatsoever that he hits harder or that he doesn't.
Back then they were using gloves with less padding which amplifies the damage.
And if I'm not mistaken, he wasn't exactly a 1 punch KO artist.

    That title belongs to Tyson.

    Highly doubt that.

Nowhere near as strong. Fury will outmuscle him with ease.

Just to be clear, the size of the glove makes virtually no difference to the kinetic energy of the punch.

This has been demonstrated by laboratory tests.

Your joking right. Louis is one of the hardest punching HW of all time.. Louis was 200 lbs of muscle while Fury is who knows what depending on the month flabby loose fat..And no that title doesnt belong to Tyson. Louis is easily the greatest punching HW. Mike is up there but not as good as Louis

I am quite serious. If he's one of the hardest hitters, why doesn't he has countless matches where he takes his opponents out with a single punch ?!? Especially since they were using thinner gloves.
And that title does belong to Tyson. He'd reign havoc if he was to fight in that era.

I find it astonishing that you can question Louis’s punching power.
Regardless of whether he’s the hardest puncher ever or not, he’s obviously one of best and most destructive punchers ever, it’s not even up for debate.

It's proven that this is a myth, punches aren't harder with smaller gloves. They could make more facial cuts or something like that, but they don't make your punches more powerful. They are also worse for your hands for what it's worth.
If he's not, then who is? Louis had some of the most brutal stoppages ever.

One punch KOs are rare, Tyson doesn't have many either. Besides, Louis had one punch KOs on his resume.

Louis has done this several times.

Are we to question Foreman’s power since it took him 7 knockdowns to beat Frazier? A countless barrage of punches to KO Lyle? Norton?
